breefield: lifelearnings: This iPod belonged to a soldier in Iraq who was shot by an insurgent.  Luckily, the bullet hit his iPod, slowing the bullet down enough to not penatrate his chest.  An engineer at Apple heard about the story, and is trying to replace the iPod for him. Why does the iPod have an HP logo on the back? I’ve never seen that before. Apple partnered with HP for a while to sell their ipods. It was pretty much a failed marketing attempt though.
